The Food Allergy Project: Saving Children’s Lives
is building a coalition of concerned parents, researchers, educators and experts working to increase the federal resources dedicated to food allergy research, and to spur the fundamental scientific studies that are needed to save children’s lives. There are currently no medications to cure or control food allergies. We must find a cure.
The parents of food allergic children need the help of the United
States Congress. Generating the necessary $50 million in annual research funding is simply too much for the private sector to bear alone. And unless the federal government signals an interest in
food allergy research, the field will not attract the bright, scientific minds that are needed to find a cure.
The Food Allergy Project is financially self-
sustaining and no membership dues are collected. We do not ask for your money – we ask for your voices and
signatures to encourage our representatives on Capitol Hill to make
the fight against food allergies a priority. To deliver our message effectively on Capitol Hill, we must add more voices to the choir.
